Plus S&W auto-pistols & long guns - lots 246-269
Plus Springfield Armory U.S. military long guns & bayonets - lots 270-296
Lot 123 - Smith & Wesson -
Ladysmith, 1st Model - .22 Rimfire; 3” barrel. - Excellent condition w/
factory rework star. - 99% bright factory nickel; very light sub-hairline
scuffing overall. Five pointed star on butt suggests return to factory for some
type of work, but I see not other marks nor indications that this involved a
refinish, so I suspect this is original finish. There is a mark I'm not
familiar with, a circled P, on the major components. If anyone knows the
significance, I'd appreciate learning. - Excellent markings; good mech & bore;
intact forcing cone; excellent hard rubber grips numbered to gun. - s/n 2122* -
