Lot 639 - Inglis - No. 1 MK I* -
FN Browning High Power pattern WWII military pistol
- 9mm - Either fine or fair condition… - My confusion on the condition comes
from my unfamiliarity w/ the subtleties of Hi-Power pistols. I suspect the
rough finish on this gun is the result of hurried wartime no-polish
manufacture. If this is true, this is a very nice specimen, retaining maybe 80%
of a very thin military type phosphate finish. The relatively crisp original
markings lead me to suspect this is the case. - If, however, wartime production
guns had a finer polish, I'd have to say this gun shows remarkably even light
pitting overall. - Mech, grips & bore seem to be fine. Magazine appears to be
more recent manufacture. I find no recent import marks. Tangent rear sight
typical of No. 1 Inglis. - s/n 3CH3833 - C&R ffl - (estimate 350 to 700) -

Lot 645 - Smith and Wesson - U.S.
Army Model 1917
- .45 ACP - Condition is very good to excellent. - Appears as a 95% gun from

may make it closer to 90%. Excellent markings; good case color. Grips are
incorrect for this model, but desirable, being diamond center S&W Magna grips. -
