Lot #371 - British - No. 4 Mk 1 - British sniper rifle with scope and wood case - .303 Brit - Condition is excellent plus. - Owner reports this is an all original British sniper. -  In addition to the scope, mount & wood case, distinctive characteristic features include “TR” marking on left side of butt cup, 1/8” tall “S” on right forward frame, 1/4” tall “S51” on bottom of pistol grip, & scalloped front cheek piece. -   Model marking on left frame is very faint w/ “No. 4 Mk. I” legible.  Butt cup markings include “M47C / 1944”.  Bottom of stock just behind t.guard stamped “S L” with two small proofs; front bottom stock “SL / N / 74” w/ s/n; “X” stamped on upper left area behind chamber.  - Approx. 97% black finish remains; a few very light handling marks to excellent wood; bore is excellent. - Scope is marked “TEL. STG. No 32 Mk 3”, and is not numbered to the gun.  Scope body has 97% black finish, with the paint more worn on the brass adjustment knobs. Lot #372 - Mauser - Mod. K98 - S/243 code 1937 date German WWII bolt action military rifle. - 8mm; 24” barrel. - Appears as excellent condition; possibly some restoration. - Most metal retains 90% thin dull blue, with barrel bands & triggerguard more gray (both of which have some pinpoint pitting).  Good markings include nazi eagle over 280 waffenamts.  Serial number matches on barrel, receiver, bolt parts, & nose cap.  Wood has few blemishes; no markings; possibly refinished to nice correct appearance. - [8gbmo] - s/n 9098g - C&R ffl - (est.300 to 600)

Lot #374 - Serial Number 13 Springfield Armory - M1A - IDF sniper rifle - 7.62mm (.308 Win.); 22” barrel.  - Condition is excellent plus. - The gun retains 99-100% black finish; light scuffing to synthetic black stock.  Special features include adjustable bipod; raised cheekpiece; scope with heavy usage wear to finish marked “'NIMROD' TELESCOPE 6x40” with sliding sunshade in quick detachable mount w/ Hebrew character; special s/n IDF013 with star of David below the s/n.  In a well traveled tan military padded rubberized case w/ foam liner fitted to rifle, marked with Hebrew characters & hand written in  felt marker “Born to kill”. - Documents with gun include a Springfield Armory “Certificate of Authenticity” stating “Israel Defense Force (IDF) M14 rifle, Serial Number IDF013 is an original authentic military sniper rifle used by IDF Soldiers”.  My understanding is that SA acquired M14 snipers from Israel & rebuilt them w/ M1A receivers in about 1999.  Only about 2000 made. - [8dst-41] - s/n IDF013 - FFL - (est.1250 to 2500)
